Photo shoot planning document
What emotional impact do you want your photography do have
upon the reader and how will you achieve this? The emotional impact I want the
reader to have is that of understanding the emotions that the person I am
photographing has. I will achieve this by making the expressions easy to recognise
and also by making the main coverline relevant to the expressions the person is
presenting and that I want to put across.
What personnel do you need? Who are you going to photograph?
I am going to photograph a girl who I haven’t chosen yet and
will get someone to photograph me and the girl.
What props will you need?
The props I will need will be some glasses and chains as my
magazine will be a rap magazine so I will want to show the typical rap artist
within my photographs.
How are you going to emphasise colour? The colours I will be
using will be bold colours but won’t be a variety of colours though mainly
whites, blacks and maybe a blue or red.
Have you briefed your personnel/models?
No I haven’t as of yet but I will when I see them.
What lighting will you need? Any other equipment? The only
equipment I will need will be a camera to take my photographs.
Where will you shoot? Will you need a backdrop?
I will shoot in the photography room and the backdrop is yet
to be decided but will be a famous landmark such as the New York skyline or the
London eye
Mise-en-scene - Make-up? Costumes? Props?
The make-up will be done by the model themselves and won’t
be too over the top. Costumes will just be clothes that fit into the genre of
rap and can display the idea of rap though.
