The average age I collected from my magazine was 16 so I
aimed my magazine at 16-21 year olds by using language and context that younger
people won’t use or understand but older people would.
The second question I asked was what gender are you and the
responses I got were 50/50 half boys, half girls so I tried to aim my magazine
at both sexes but geared towards boys a bit.
The third question I asked was what music do you listen to
and 50% of the responses said RnB so I placed some things in the magazine that
would attract those who listen to RnB music towards my magazine.
I then asked if people read magazines and 33% of the
responses said yes where as a third said no and the other third of people said
sometimes so on this basis I tried to make my magazine have stuff in that
suited the third who said yes like what they would want in a magazine.
33% of the responses said they read music magazines so I
tried to get those who said yes involved in my magazine. The people who said
they read music magazines I asked what type of magazine they read to see if
they would buy my magazine.
The next question was how much would you pay for a magazine
and 66% of the responses said they would preferably pay £2.99/£3 so that
altered my mind in to making the price of my magazine £2.99 to try and satisfy
potential buyers.
66% of the responses on the last question what would you
like in a music magazine said interviews so I specifically placed an interview
in my magazine with another interview being shown on another page as well as
having album reviews.
